Assist Head Chemist in planning and executing laboratory tests according to test procedures.
Conduct chemical experiments under the guidance of Head Chemist.
Document test procedures and results and report the same to Head Chemist for analysis.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures for chemical tests.
Supervise co-workers in their job duties when needed.
Maintain the laboratory clean, safe and organized.
Support in developing project plan, scope, schedule, and budget for chemical projects.
Communicate project status to Supervisor on regular basis.
Setup laboratory equipment, materials and supplies ready before conducting chemical experiments.
Coordinate, plan, and perform daily laboratory functions.
Analyze root causes for problems and suggest corrective actions.
Assist Quality Manager establishing ISO procedures and good lab practices.
Develop or revise the test analytical methods to ensure quality, productivity and consistency.
Identify and report new equipment needs to Supervisor.
Report equipment repair and maintenance requests in timely manner.
