Audiology Assistant Responsibilities and Duties

Assist audiologists in providing clinical audiology services to patients with audiology disorders.

Understand, assess and evaluate audiological treatments and clinical techniques.

Assist audiologists in teaching residents, interns and other medical personnel.

Initiate audiology quality assurance programs and activities.

Perform repairs and maintenance of hearing aids implements.

Communicate information relating to hearing aid dispensing issues to audiologists.

Maintain and manage all documents and records relating to audiology programs.

Ensure total customer or patient satisfaction through audiology assistant duties.

Maintain and manage qualitative clinical standards in audiology assistant functions.

Adhere to and comply with medical center policies and procedures relating to audiology functions.
