Lab Support Technician Responsibilities and Duties

Perform different routine methods to collect, receive and process laboratory requisitions and samples.

Involve in performance of technical processes including technical as well as data entry duties.

Head responsibility to receive, store and monitor biological samples.

Maintain and update data in BSM data system.

Evaluate incoming specimen shipments for integrity, condition and accurate documentation.

Involve in samples retrieving from inventory and supply to laboratories for assay.

Manage sample inventory along with implementing destruction requests.

Ensure to return inventory and conduct capacity management processes.

Support Production Association as well as Projects Specialists as required.

Ensure to maintain assigned lab areas.

Provide safe work atmosphere for entire staff working in lab.

Comply with set cage changing methods.

Conduct health observations everyday.

Maintain and update accurate documents of different facility procedures.

Conduct regular facility sanitation measures.
