Regional Controller Responsibilities and Duties

Measure cost and control through sound annual operating budgets in line with manufacturing needs.

Develop, execute and manage common inventory control systems to ensure plant integrity and regional distribution inventories.

Develop regional BSU strategy and monitor regional BSU objectives implementation.

Handle accounting and support VP of Operations.

Handle region’s centralized billing function of 6 resources to guarantee timely and accurate billing.

Develop internal controls on centralized billing to continue to enhance group performance and work product.

Perform regular physical inventories as per Logistics Department.

Finish month end journal entries and financial analyses impacting manufacturing and warehouse cost centers.

Develop clear goals and accountability for direct reports and offer performance feedback periodically.

Create high quality finance team to lead financial planning and inventory control.

Audit cost accounting system to comply with financial and operational goals.

Engage in future action planning and support adequate EVA calculations process.

Extend support in finance area for Site Controllers BSU.

Communicate to GM final results and differences from expectations.

Coach and develop senior financial analyst on work product reviews and performance feedback.
