Clinical Consultant Responsibilities and Duties

Offer fastidious account management and clinical consultation to focus on client satisfaction.

Handle clinical implementation for all Medication Delivery products.

Offer clinical expertise to external and internal customers.

Coordinate with sales force account team to ascertain sales opportunities in all hospitals for satisfying customer requirements.

Serve as a focal point for drug and customer information by conducting utilization reviews and analysis and formulary management.

Present clinical drug information and lend support to Customer Service Pharmacy Technicians on diverse areas including claim processing.

Incorporate changes or define usage of new clinical products to manage supply chain costs effectively.

Initiate and lead value analysis meetings to identify client requirements for biddable product categories.

Coordinate with client to design contract requirements and involve them in the sourcing process.

Analyze claims and cost driver data to reveal trends and suggest recommendations to clients on intervention using UM programs.

Encourage desired behavior and financial results by analyzing benefit designs and effecting necessary changes to it.

Encourage customer partnerships to maximize operational effectiveness and control costs by executing educational and product utilization programs.

Guide and mentor clinical sales representatives by orienting and educating on clinical products, surgical procedures and hospital protocol.

Facilitate delivery of P&T decisions, formulary management and market information to clients.

Orient new clinical consultants and support corporate pharmacy operations.
