Fixed Income Analyst Responsibilities and Duties

Develop business plans to ensure that fixed income business runs optimally.

Maintain and manage fixed income products effectively.

Perform monitoring of fixed income performances.

Provide assistance to senior investment strategist and fixed income portfolio managers as needed.

Perform market and portfolio analysis to support fixed income strategies.

Monitor and analyze the assets coming into the portfolio.

Address customer problems and questions to generate business in the fixed income field and to support the growth of assets.

Communicate with equity managers, performance analyst, research providers, broker dealers and vendors for portfolio management.

Perform simulations and stress tests on proposed and existing portfolios.

Analyze financial statements and develop investment thesis when required.

Contribute to ongoing investment ideas and portfolio strategy discussions.

Participate in business meetings to share recommendations and ideas for investment.

Maintain advanced knowledge of fixed income markets.
