Information Technology Technical Associate Responsibilities and Duties

Install new, modified or third party software releases.

Develop program specification and review with user to meet requirements.

Execute database to optimize data access and security.

Oversee database standards and procedures, system usage and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve database and data problems.

Supervise, analyze and verify data for integrity.

Create assigned databases to support specific applications.

Manage database archives by getting and installing data sets.

Support data transfers or file sharing.

Develop and monitor security protocols on restricted access systems.

Design fully integrated systems like applications, databases, networks and systems.

Suggest modifications to third party software to meet user needs.

Develop and test complex communications interface programs including voice and data communication.

Document to support area IT functions and extend user support for programs.

Evaluate and supplement vendor supplied documentation for third party software.
