Field Claims Representative Responsibilities and Duties

Investigate damages and losses through personal visits, claimant interviews and witnesses.

Prepare damage estimates to determine the claim value and liability.

Manage and negotiate the settlement of claims.

Ensure in compliance with the company policies and procedures.

Monitor, update and reserve the claims.

Evaluate and adjust claims as per the claim adjustment standards.

Establish proper documentation and filing processes.

Prepare claim forms and records as required.

Determine insurance coverage by reviewing policy coverage forms.

Provide professional and outstanding customer services.

Maintain effective working relationship with claimants, agents, witnesses, policy holders, medical professionals, polices, etc. to investigate and process claims.

Establish strong relationship with Attorneys, underwriting team, investigators, etc for timely settlement of claims.

Participate in workshops and educational programs for professional growth.

Stay updated on the recent developments and trends in the insurance industries.
