Translator Interpreter Responsibilities and Duties

Interpret in appropriate medical terminology with respect to translation.

Support to translate medical information to all external and internal customers.

Translate as required patient education information.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality according to University Hospital as well as department policies.

Assist patient follow-up as required.

Ensure to include contacting patients required for appointment reminders.

Help communication among patients as well as health care providers with excellence, integrity and teamwork.

Provide suitable language interpretation as in person as well as over phone for effectual communication among Limited English Proficient patients plus providers.

Promote equal admittance to healthcare services as well as perform in best interest of patients along with their families.

Involve in all company events like presentations to community and information sharing meetings.

Perform sight translations through target language into English.

Prepare non-technical translations into target language.

Conduct oral interpretation functions.

Assist military contracting officer with local purchase to provide interpretation support at military traffic control point.

Support security staff to screen local population at entire military checkpoints.
