Member Technical Staff Responsibilities and Duties

Establish technical specifications for wireless systems like CDMA 1X, 1XEVDO and LTE.

Assess and develop new advanced technologies by translating strategic business goals into final design.

Lead small groups or teams for effective project management and delivery.

Maintain complex technologies by understanding system requirements.

Strategize technical guidance to team.

Perform technical trials.

Update on industry trends and technology.

Represent US Cellular interests at external industry forums.

Maintain and improve current Web applications and migration to unified technology platform.

Display familiarity with clients side web technologies.

Assess or characterize focal plane arrays and electro-optical components and systems.

Research laser interactions with materials and develop models to characterize observed behavior.

Create advanced electro-optical system concepts to meet customer needs in remote sensing.

Utilize radiometric sensor system models for generating electro-optical system performance needs.

Interface with department management and staff to plan, coordinate and complete EO lab tasks.
