Power Systems Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Deliver solutions and support as per project schedules.

Create thorough documentation and specifications of power systems’ components.

Review design, calculate and simulate system as per ratings and release final reports.

Record specification design, codes and comply with related standards.

Create electrical one line diagrams and schematics for power systems equipments.

Communicate with vendors, quality, productions and reliability engineering.

Develop relationships with alternative subassemblies sources.

Devise work instructions and procedures for field and production use.

Support on non-conformance issues.

Develop power electronics, analog circuitry, AC/DC power supplies and adapters.

Attain international EMC approvals.

Understand safety concerns.

Resolve, evaluate and test power electronic in lab.

Specify new products with vendors.

Manage suppliers and manufacturing partners.
