Design and enhance manufacturing methods.

Discuss with vendors to identify product specifications and purchase and assess products as per standards.
Call engineers, architects and technical personnel to convince potential client of product desirability and practicability.
Check customer documents to estimate cost or projected production increases from client’s equipment use.
Suggest equipment and process changes resulting in cost reduction or operation enhancement.
Offer technical services to clients on equipment use, operation and maintenance.
Investigate incident and work with coordinator to execute operational or mechanical corrective actions.
Train on process and equipment at shift starter meetings.
Attend routine production meetings and lead problem solving.
Support planning production including process flow analysis, material movement and resource allocation.
Address SOPs needing technical input with coordinator.
Set up run parameters on printing and sorting equipment.
Function as area technical expert for processes and equipment.
Review latest technologies for safe assembly practices, avoid quality issues and minimize assembly time and variable cost.
