Quality Analyst Responsibilities and Duties

Develop test scripts utilizing comprehensive business requirements, functional documentation and processes.

Interact with various resources at workspace like business, development as well as analyst teams.

Implement test scripts, record actual results and identify defects.

Provide hands-on experience and interpret automated test script preparation and execution.

Suggest creative and active solutions for problem.

Resolve issues and express ingenuity as required.

Assist in test defect management process, monitor and report on defect resolution to management.

Identify and suggest changes to predetermined quality guidelines and policies.

Develop and maintain Quality Assurance procedure documentation.

Prepare, review and present input to quality analysis test cases.

Coordinate execution of test scripts with Project Managers, Test Leads, Internal Testers and Development Managers.

Analyze and review test sequence and scope on basis of test results in product design.

Support technical support staff and Application Developers to identify and resolve defects.

Evaluate large data amounts from different sources and develop useful summary reports.

Identify needed data sources working with data owners of storehouse.
