Receiving Associate Responsibilities and Duties

Answer and respond to customer inquiries, requirements and needs.

Provide excellent service to customers.

Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and ships.

Verify documents and reports in accordance to the unloaded merchandise.

Update sales reports on a periodic basis.

Execute housekeeping duties.

Perform and execute functions relating to merchandise preparation, staging and outbound shipments.

Maintain stockroom in a systematic and orderly manner.

Maintain and manage stockroom records, reports and inventories.

Initiate and implement safety procedures and standards.
