Sales Applications Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Provide technical related sales support to Sales Managers, Region Managers and team to related to GE Motors products.

Present technical expertise to commercial and sales operations to select, implement and develop competitive product applications as well as solutions.

Head responsibility to assist sales team to attain orders goals for region and through market segment.

Train and support technically region managers plus sales managers.

Forecast GE equipment along with system performance, price and hardware for budgetary estimates.

Evaluate competitive system performance as well as hardware analysis across entire bid process.

Respond to different technical questions pertinent to products plus systems solutions.

Respond to all central clearing-house for entire technical issues and questions from Sales Team.

Participate in conference calls along with on-site meetings with customers.

Perform with sales person as well as project engineer to transit proposal to successful order.

Assist regional sales managers, customers and representatives in every pre-sale activities.

Evaluate prospective company products’ application and provide solutions on basis of customer needs.

Review customer specifications and develop complete technical plus commercial proposals.

Prepare labor as well as material cost estimates along with attain pricing quotations for all major purchased items.

Ensure to call regularly customers to develop and maintain relations and follow up on leads.

Identify and develop within accounts new opportunities.
