Community Development Specialist Responsibilities and Duties

Identify urban communities and establish close ties with territorial development boards.

Emphasize community education and economic and urban personnel development.

Research and offer education for annual and regional summits in collaboration with development associations.

Work with officials, entrepreneurs and specialists towards expansion of knowledgealopment.

Assimilate and develop resources for educational websites and programs.

Develop new methodologies to deliver prepared instructional programs.

Develop and manage instructional programs and transmit these to county and campus audiences and staff.

Assimilate and disseminate economic and developmental data and reports to concerned authorities.

Ensure outreach of services to all segments of the public.

Track program impact and results, and relay to concerned parties of public and government.

Generate funds through collaborations and grant applications.

Devise effective assessment plans, and keep precise and prompt records of work.

Upgrade constantly in line with personal and corporate objectives.

Contribute in meetings and provide due assistance to Economic Development staff.

Make personal outstation arrangements to carry out periodic follow ups of job responsibilities.
