Assistant Coach Responsibilities and Duties

Assist Head Coach in providing athletic training to students.

Schedule daily practice sessions including individual and team practices

Train and prepare student athletics for sports competitions

Organize various sports events, contests and competitions.

Teach skills, techniques and strategies for team play.

Recruit and select qualified students for sports program.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of student athletic and provide appropriate feedback.

Build positive and achievement oriented team environment.

Ensure that student athletic is mentally and physically fit to participate in sports program.

Plan travel arrangements for team including transportation, food and stay.

Assist in conduction alumni events, summer camps, promotional events and fund-raising programs.

Maintain athletic facility clean, safe and organized.

Ensure that athletic equipment and tools are in good and safe working conditions.

Assist in budget preparation and expense management programs.

Adhere to rules and policies established by athletic department.
