Store Detective Responsibilities and Duties

Execute surveillance to detect along with apprehend shoplifters.

Execute physical security checks at store.

Recommend feasible solutions to prevent losses at stores.

Participate to train new hire Store Associates with purpose to address Loss Prevention areas.

Help to determine creative shortage related to control solutions.

Participate to identify all forms of loss and motivating shortage control involvement.

Execute safety inspections and convey hazards promptly to Store Management.

Head responsibility for store heightening for Loss Prevention awareness through participating actively in store meetings.

Provide emergency response to medical call.

Investigate financial crimes against respective Meijer.

Investigate and record different specific crimes at store.

Identify and record unsafe behavior as well as environments if any.

Inspect and maintain store’s perimeter security.

Perform as liaison with all local prosecutors as well as law enforcement officials.

Perform as resource for organization’s operational management.
