New Real Estate Agent Announcement Letter
When Realtors are just starting out, they have to begin generating leads in order to establish themselves and start earning money. One way to do that is by sending out a new real estate agent announcement letter to friends, family members and colleagues. This letter announces one’s new ventures, and is intended to stimulate word-of-mouth referrals.
Format and Content
A new real estate agent announcement letter format is somewhat informal. It is addressed to individuals the agent is already acquainted with on a personal basis, and will likely address them by first name only. Even so, it must still maintain a professional tone if it is to be taken seriously. These letters provide information about where an agent is working, a few details about that company, and contact information for future reference.
This new real estate agent announcement letter is being sent by a newly licensed Realtor who has never worked in this industry before. Even so, she is active in several community groups, and has also built a network of potential customers through her previous employment as a mortgage broker. She is writing a letter to one of her former clients letting him know of her new position, so that he can contact her the next time he is interested in purchasing property. Contact information and a call to action are included at the end of this correspondence.
I am writing this letter to let you know that I have recently joined the ranks of Big City Real Estate as a brokering agent. In this new position, I will be serving people just like you who are interested in purchasing real estate either for personal use or as a potential investment.
Big City Real Estate is one of the leading real estate companies in this area. They currently have more listings on the market than any other brokering firm, and their sales figures from last year more than doubled that of New Home Realty, which came in second place.
Being chosen to represent Big City Real Estate is truly an honor for me. In my new position, I am hoping to draw on my previous experience as a mortgage broker in order to help potential buyers not only find the right property, but understand the different types of mortgages that are available to them as well.
I am enclosing my business card along with a referral sheet for you to pass along to anyone you know of that might be interested in buying or selling property here in Big City. As always, feel free to contact me any time you would like to see any of the MLS properties located in this area. I can be reached at (555)-555-5555. Thank you for your time and attention.
