Paragraph 1: This paragraph should be used to thank the interviewer for considering you for the post and taking the time to meet and interview you. You should mention again how keen you are to be considered for the position.

Paragraph 2: This paragraph should be used to explain again why you are perfect for the job. Don’t hold back on praise for yourself. You can mention specific skills you think you will bring to the organisation.

Paragraph 3: This is an opportunity to mention anything positive about yourself that you failed to mention in your interview. You are taking a second chance in writing this letter, so you should make the most of it by mentioning all of those things you thought of as you left the interview room!

Paragraph 4: Mention again how keen you are on the job being advertised, thank them again for seeing you at interview, and say that you are looking forward to hearing from them soon.
