Audiologist Responsibilities and Duties

Diagnose and evaluate hearing and auditory skills, problems and disorders.

Initiate preventive measures in controlling auditory problems.

Conduct research on hearing and auditory problems.

Develop and initiate audiological solutions.

Perform otoscopic examination to detect hearing disorders.

Assess and evaluate the impact of cochlear implants.

Evaluate and assess central auditory systems and auditory mechanisms.

Counsel and educate people with auditory disorders on proper care and management.

Relate audiological results with educational, social, behavioral and medical data.

Initiate and provide quality treatment in auditory disorders.
