I am applying for the position of Financial Specialist at Independent Bank Corporation and my qualifications match the requirements listed in your posting.

The attached resume has a complete look at my credentials but here are a few of the highlights that are relevant to this position. I have a bachelor’s degree in finances and some of my courses focused on math, marketing, economics and global finance. I also worked as a bank loan officer for three years researching client’s financial history to determine if they were eligible for a loan.

I am familiar with a variety of computer programs and I have the education, experience and personal skills needed to be a great match for this position. I have the ability to work directly with clients to help them determine their financial goals. I have the experience to evaluate the financial status of the client and the communication skills needed to explain exactly where they stand in terms they can easily understand.

Once their financial status is established, I have the ability to put together a financial plan that meets the specific needs of the client. I also have the knowledge to make recommendations for short and long-term investments that will enhance the client’s financial situation.
