Sybase Developer Responsibilities and Duties

Understand, evaluate and implement tools and trends in database systems administration.

Develop and implement core Sybase databases including ASE 12.5 and 15.

Maintain and manage backup, recovery, storage and user administration.

Assist and support in production installations of various ASE releases.

Assess, evaluate and upgrade production servers to the next release.

Install and configure servers.

Replicate production hosts.

Assist and support team members on various IT infrastructure elements.

Execute and handle database objects, views, procedures, indexes and file system structure.

Perform cloning test and develop production environments.
