Dear Ms. Karen Mason,
I am applying for the Strength and Conditioning Coach position with Armstrong Atlantic State University.
As a previous athlete, I have personal experience with strength and conditioning workouts and I would appreciate an opportunity to share my knowledge with others wanting to perform this type of exercises. In addition to my personal experience, I have a bachelor’s degree with courses that focused on kinesiology and I completed and received my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.
I have acquired the knowledge to put together a workout routine with the proper moves and exercises designed to work on specific parts of the body. I have the knowledge to personalize the training to match the client’s specific needs. It is important for this type of routine to be based on the individual’s physical stamina, age and overall health.
I understand how difficult it can be to push yourself as hard as you need to when strength and conditioning training but I am a great motivated and I know how to help clients reach their goals. I am also very perceptive, so I know when to push the client harder and when back off to avoid injury or complications.
I enjoy working with others to help them reach their personal goals and I have the interpersonal skills needed to create an environment where they will feel comfortable and open up. When clients have concerns or questions they do not speak out about, it can hinder the training process. I possess strong organizational skills, record keeping skills and I am an excellent teacher.
