Here is the Plant Mechanic Cover Letter example:

Dear Ms. Gina Wilcher,

Recently I saw a listing for your plant mechanic position and would like to be considered for this opening. I feel I am a great fit for your company and have attached my resume for your consideration.

I have a high school diploma and have worked as a plant mechanic for over five years. It is understood that support needs to be provided to operations which eliminates much of the downtime that the plant would undergo. I can also recognize and promote any idea that would make for safer work conditions and that would also be more efficient and cost effective. It is vital that operation stay consistent with the budgetary constraints of the company.

I am also able to support and work with any outside group such as the operations department or the engineering department to come up with safety, optimization and expansion plans. There would not be any problem with heavy lifting, standing or sitting long hours or using hand tools. I have a valid driver’s license and insurance and there would be no problem producing both upon hire. If weekends or overtime is required, that would not be a problem. I am also available to be on call after work hours if there is an issue with any equipment during my off time.

I would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss your needs in a plant mechanic and go into more detail on how I can fulfill those needs. Please feel free to contact me at any time by calling (555)-555-5555.

Respectfully,

Your Signature
