I am seeking a position in the hospitality management department with your company NMR Hospitality Management Group.
My education consists of a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management along with ten years working as a manager in the industry. In my past position I was responsible for all hotel operations and conferred with all department heads on the issues directly involved with the hotel. These departments included but were not limited to human resources, housekeeping and finance. My conflict resolving skills allowed me to ensure that all departments were running smoothly and that any conflicts were handled immediately to the benefit of the hotel.
Other duties and tasks that were under my control were handling customer service requests that were not in the scope of the department heads in order to ensure customer satisfaction. I also developed practices and procedures for the departments in regards to customer service to ensure that all departments were offering the same level of service.
I have always ensured that my hotel always came in on budget and that the percentage of room occupation stayed within the parameters of keeping the hotel operational. This included the hiring and training of personnel along with disciplining and removal of personnel that failed to produce to the standards of the hotel. I have great interpersonal skills and can motivate all employees to get the best out of their efforts in most cases.
